A laboratory hired by the Dr. Oz Show found higher levels of total arsenic in Apple juice that the FDA permits in bottled water - a threat to public health, said of Oz. But in a letter to the show, the FDA called Oz "irresponsible and misleading" claims because the performance of the test does not distinguish between organic and inorganic arsenic, a point key, the Agency said, since only inorganic arsenic are toxic.
